The CotswoldsThe Cotswolds
Tour Highlights
  • Full Day Tour
  • Visit Villages of the Cotswolds
  • Visit Blenheim Palace
  • Lunch in Cotswolds (Tour 16BL)

  • The Cotswolds – Steeped in history, rich in heritage and awash with natural beauty, the area of England known as the Cotswolds is a charming blend of bustling market towns, sleepy villages, and breathtaking natural scenery. This tour gives you time to explore some of these picturesque villages independently.

Burford – We visit this thriving old wool town built along a steep high street which leads down to a medieval bridge spanning the River Windrush. Burford is full of crooked little houses, leaning walls and gabled cottages. Then through the Windrush and Dickler Valley and into Gloucestershire to Bourton-on the-Water, often called the “Venice of the Cotswolds”.

    Bourton on the Water
Often called the “Venice of the Cotswolds”, this village is one of the most photographed in the region, with its traditional Cotswold villages, elegant low bridges, and picturesque Main Street.

Stow-On-The-Wold – We travel to the highest town in the Cotswolds, at 800ft. At one end stands the town stocks, at the other the ancient cross; all surrounded by elegant Cotswold houses and delightful shops.

Lunch In The Cotswolds – We’ll stop in one of the picturesque villages. (Tour 16BL)

    Blenheim Palace
Visit one of England’s most magnificent stately homes, the birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill. The Palace contains a wonderful collection of furniture and paintings..

Tour 16BL – Enhance your Day with Lunch at a Traditional English Pub
