  • Runnymede and Magna Carta
    We will drive past Runnymede, the site where King John met his barons in 1215 and agreed to seal the charter that became known as the Magna Carta, to prevent a civil war. We will also see the nearby memorial to John F. Kennedy

    Windsor and Eton
    Enjoy a gentle walking tour through cobbled streets seeing many interesting buildings dating from the 17th century. The Old King’s Head pub is said to be where Shakespeare wrote ’the Merry Wives of Windsor’ and just before Windsor Bridge is Sir Christopher Wren’s House, which was the family home of the famous architect. We will also see the famous Eton College, founded in 1440 Famous Old Etonians include Duke of Wellington, Harold McMillan to name but a few to Prince William and Prince Harry from the Royal family.

    Windsor Castle
    We will visit the official residence of the Queen and see the magnificent State Apartments, furnished with some of the finest works of art and still used for State occasions; St George’s Chapel, where the tombs of many kings and queens lie, notably Henry VIII and his third wife Jane Seymour and the Queen Mary’s Dolls House, the most famous dolls house in the world.
