An excellent opportunity to see two great attractions in a single half a day - what a winner!

Tour Highlights

  • Late Departure Tour
  • See Runnymede
  • Visit Windsor State Apartments
  • Cream Tea at Hampton Court Gardens

  • Windsor Castle – Windsor Castle is the largest inhabited castle in the world and a home of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. You’ll see the gorgeous State Apartments, created by George IV in the 1820s, with their fabulous collection of treasures. The lavishly decorated formal rooms are still used for state and official functions. If the State Apartments are closed, we still tour the castle precincts and see Queen Mary’s Dolls’ House and St George’s Chapel.

Runnymede & Magna Carta – We will drive past the site where King John met his barons in 1215, and agreed to seal the charter that became known as the Magna Carta, to prevent a civil war.

Hampton Court Gardens – You’ll see the Privy Gardens, manicured masterpieces of garden design completed in 1702 for William III, and the formal East Front Gardens. Other gardens to visit include the South Gardens and the Lower Orangery. (Entrance to the Palace is not included.)

This tour finishes at approx. 5.30
