The much-loved musical tale of a Jewish family in Tsarist Russia facing emotional turmoil and physical upheaval. At the heart of the family, and the story, is Tevye, an old-fashioned father who wants to see his daughters married in the traditional Jewish way. Henry Goodman leads the cast of this transfer of the acclaimed Sheffield Theatres production. Goodman's previous London performances include The Hypochondriac, The Gondoliers, Chicago, Guys And Dolls and The Merchant of Venice.

The Evening Standard  "Mature, heartfelt, impeccably executed revival."

Daily Telegraph

"superb production."

The Guardian

"Long, overblown revival does little to make a case for this old-fashioned musical."
