The Producers

The Producers tickets from London Theatre Ticket Web

The Producers is a Musical What hasn’t been said about this show? It’s the funniest musical ever. It features several performances of a lifetime. It’s outrageously offensive. And at the same time a great old fashioned well made piece of musical theatre. I’m pleased to report that ALL of the above is true.
In New York, The Producers won more Tony Awards than any other in Broadway history. It’s not hard to see why. Here in London the show , together with Poppins, has restored faith in musicals – a big stonking kill for a ticket hit. This musical comedy revolves around washed-up theatre producer Max Bialystock who, along with his timid accountant Leo Bloom, cooks up a scheme to make a fortune by presenting a sure-fire flop called Springtime for Hitler. Their plan is to take off with all their investors' money - but when the curtain goes up on their gigantic singing and dancing spectacular, they realize their plan has not gone entirely to plan.

Theatre Review

The Producers This Mel Brooks show is musical comedy at its spirit-lifting best. Nathan Lane gives a sensational performance as the corrupt but oddly lovable producer who attempts to make his fortune with a show about the innocent joys of the Third Reich. Laughter all the way as Hitler's troupers go down a storm.  from the opening number the audience rides a tidal wave of pure pleasure and after three delirious hours one is left stunned by a combination of unstoppable laugher and sheer happiness

Daily Telegraph

A glorious night of musical comedy three times funnier and ten times warmer than the film this is a love letter to Broadway!
